The Solving of a Century-Old Serial Killer Mystery

This book was meandering and so poorly written. The author has managed to take interesting material and make it devastatingly boring and repetitive. He also writes with blatant sexism and racism.
This book reads like an oral history told by someone who is just really excited to fill you in on their Special Interest. This includes tangents - sometimes whole chapters long - about things which may not necessarily be related to the subject at hand, but which they found in their research and thought the reader would find just as interesting as they did. Tbh I enjoyed the narrative style, though I totally get why it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
