OK I plan to write more of a review later but basically I could not put this down and then when I finished it I had ghost nightmares! And I'm not even normally scared of ghosts! ahhhhh—2/15 I re-read this in preparation for [b:The Shadow Cabinet 17412895 The Shadow Cabinet (Shades of London, #3) Maureen Johnson https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1413890452s/17412895.jpg 24258340]. Still fun!

Definitely wasn't as exciting as the first one, but it was still rather good.

Btw, does this mean there's no more Alistair in the next book? I was not satisfied when his minor appearance in the novel. I'm hoping Rory makes a brief stop at Wexford and visits him in the third book, but I don't see that happening. He's my favorite character though, I love him!
