The Luxe

Romance and betrayal and what I can only imagine are some killer clothes. I'd like to see this as a film. A fun, flip read. (I obviously picked this one up because of the title...)

This was a predictable, fluffy read. While it was enjoyable, I knew what was going to happen within the first 30 pages of the book which was disappointing. But nevertheless, I enjoyed reading about New York's elite society. I also liked the various perspectives throughout the book that gave the reader insight into each character and what was going on.

Fun, fluffy read when you want to take a break from all the other books.

Just couldn't get into it. Superficial not in a yummy sweet confection sort of a way but in “that's it?” sort of way. It might make a fun TV show though.
