The loneliness seeps through the page. This is an obviously incredible short story, and it inspired so much that came after it. I was reminded of Piranesi, which no doubt took cues from the Library. I am sometimes floored by how much stories can accomplish with so little, that this made me anxious and sad with only a few pages.

Very small book but gives oneself much to think about.

so my guy jorge is saying chances of getting anywhere in our quest to ‘read' and understand the world is or is very close to, zero. cool cool cool no doubt no doubt no doubt. The discussion on the concept of futilty of human effort as we have an endless amount of stuff to decipher is daunting to say the least.
