The Last Passenger

This Charles Lenox mystery is a prequel to his earlier books. I have not read any others but plan to do so as I find Lenox to be a very interesting character. In this one he is tasked to solve the case of the murder of an unidentified man in a rail car in London. Lenox is a private detective but has worked with Scotland Yard on occasion, as in this instance. The story line is intriguing with twists and turns. There is also the private Lenox, who comes from wealth and travels in the best circles, and comes to realize he is at a crossroads with regard to marriage. Well-written.
