The Kingmakers

This was absolutely horrible. It was so boring and predictable, it read so much like a conclusion to a trilogy. I was interested in the first book, the second one was alright, but this installment was just so mediocre. I actually caught myself rolling my eyes at various parts in the book. I do not recommend it, just stop reading after the second book. I'm glad to be done with this series. The third book wasn't worth the long wait on the library hold list.

Nothing happened in this book. The romance didn't progress at all and it made it soooooo incredibly boring. Gareth's character is so flat and he has no purpose in life other than to worship Adele, which became so redundant by the time we got to the third book. The side characters had more substance than the two main characters.. honestly how sad is that? The final battle or the climax was so rushed and it was so anticlimactic that the buildup to it was pointless. I'm disappointed.
