This book creeped me out, not least because of Mr. Pudd. I shudder just writing the guys name. If I didn't find spiders repulsive before (I did), I certainly do now.
Read it and prepare to be blown away.
I love the poetic darkness to these novels with the toes wiggling in the pool of the supernatural. This is really good but it does feel somewhat rushed and lacks the depth of the first two novels, however, the blurb at the back of the book does say that this and the next book for part of one narrative so on to that one soon. Also. Ewwwwwwwwwwww Spiders.
Not a hugr fan of Jodi Picoult, I find her books quite repetitive (granted, I have only read 4). They always seem to involve some form of child abuse. Perfect Match was an ok read, and while the book's subject breaks my heart, I struggled to identify with any of the characters.
