The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

I am curious to know how the author came up with this story. It was so crazy, and good, and unique. I already recommended it to others. This reminds me of the Aesop's Fable, The Old Man and Death, with the moral, “Be careful what you wish for, lest it come true”.
I loved how the story begins in France in 1714, and evolves over 300 years and into the United States. I loved it. I will look into more from this author.
