Writing is beautiful but this really suffered from one timeline being WAY more interesting than the other. Everytime we went back to the present day I was mad because it just felt like going backwards weirdly enough. Also the plot in the present was pretty thin and uninteresting.
But it was indeed very atmospheric and the writing was great
