4 women who have been friends since school ditch the beach holiday and decide to climb a mountain in Norway instead. What could possibly go wrong!!! It has everything, big beardy man (with man bun), poorly packed rucksacks, twisted ankles, beanie hats, fog, storms, landslides, murder, cocaine...... and breathe.
I blasted this out in 2 days, quick fun read, pure escapism. If they film it, you could cast it with the people from Smack The Pony, it would really work.

I loved it, friends reunited for there yearly trip. I consumed this. So so good. I didn't know where the story was going but I was here for it. Drama, working through issues, and surviving. I
Read for RIM. This one did nothing for me. It took a long time to get going, everyone was very one dimensional and I just had such a hard time believing that these intelligent, educated women would be so stupid to attempt a hike that is clearly for experienced (and fit) hikers. In a storm. All of the in-fighting gave me a headache and I had to force myself to finish it.
After disliking one book by this author but really enjoying another, I wanted to read a third to see which way I felt with her books and I'm happy to say I liked this one too!
This was tense and immersive and I loved the cold Norwegian setting. I wouldn't say anything blew me away with this but it was enjoyable from start to end and kept me entertained the entire time.
I also knew I'd enjoy this as it was narrated by Stephanie Racine who I already enjoy listening too, and David Johansen-Menkin who was brilliant too.
I can definitely say Lucy Clarke is becoming an auto-listen author so I will keep picking up books by her.
