Very strongly influenced by [b:Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 6310 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Charlie Bucket, #1) Roald Dahl http://images.gr-assets.com/books/1309211401s/6310.jpg 2765786], but enjoyable nonetheless. Some good puzzles, not too difficult, and they fit in with the story very well. I was pretty disappointed when Gil was disqualified, and I thought the wrapup of the games and the major mystery of his father's career coming to an unfortunate end were handled in a believable and clever manner.
