The Glister

Vaguely dissatisfying, perhaps because the writing is so incredibly evocative and honest and painfully beautiful. I was expecting something more, an incredible and moving story to match the words used to tell it, and Burnside came up short. I will definitely be reading more of his work, though, in the hopes that he found a story fit for his talent.
