Interesting concept, but the plot is so obvious and the MC is making really stupid choices for no reason.

heaving chests, thumping hearts, tight jaws, gritted teeth, passion and rage. pearlescent doppelgängers. a young woman's deluded impression of love. a young man's misinterpretation of caring. simple, repetitive, predictable, good enough for a quick weekend read.
