The Girl from Tim's Place

This is an endearingly sweet story. When Chip McGuire overhears her drunkard father selling her to one of his cronies for a hundred dollars, she makes a wild resolve and runs away into the woods, despite her great fears of the wilderness where she lives. Days later, starving and ragged, she finds some campers near a lake. They take pity on her and decide to provide for her and protect her...but it is no easy task to civilize wild, spirited Chip. Will she ever fit in with normal people?
