I loved The Other Woman by Sandie Jones, so I was hoping that this one would be just as good, if not better.
I think that I read this book the fasted I have ever read any other. I read it in less than 24 hours, which obviously means I think that this was a great book. And it was! I loved the storyline, the characters, the twists, all of it. I just don't think it was as good as The Other Woman. It probably didn't help that I read them both within a month of each other.
I think that The First Mistake was a little bit predictable, but I still enjoyed reading it. I enjoyed Beth's point of view more than Alice's, she seemed to have more going on, but they were both pretty gullible and relied too much on men. It was pretty realistic as well, so it could really happen to anyone.
I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is into thrillers/suspense. Anything by Sandie Jones is a must-read!
