I guess its pretty difficult to capture a classic like WOT in such a short format. Especially since there are so many characters and they are all important. This volume starts out pretty slowly and you feel it never holds you the way the books do. As you get to wards the end it does begin to pick up and you look forward to reading the next volume. The art could definitely have been better and the Taveran a bit more distinct. LAN portrayal is pretty poor but Thom and Morraine are perfect. Onto the next one then!
I have read all the Wheel of Time books, obviously barring Memory of Light. I really enjoyed this graphic novel, and loved being able to read it with visual aids, it adds a whole new element to the story. There can be no substitute for one's own imagination, but it is also enjoyable to see someone elses too. I just wish there were more already!! Would recommend reading this, but only after you've read the series, that's my opinion anyway :)
