The Enigma Factor

Technology can be a scary thing, especially when criminals are involved.

The Enigma Factor is a thriller that is pushed by the characters. They are incredibly well described and each have very good, and unique personalities. The story is also well thought-out and unpredictable in most of its outcome, though there are a very easily predicted scenes.

I really enjoyed the technology aspect of the story and thought that it was well placed in the world setting. What I didn't like however, was how high the romance was and the cursing. There were multiple sex scenes and they seemed to just be thrown in for the sake of including them. The romance would have survived better, in my opinion, without the sexual tension present, plus, I would have enjoyed the book a lot more had they been omitted.

So overall, I liked the story and the characters, but because of the other content, I'll only be rating The Enigma Factor 3 out of 5 stars.
