Such a great book! This is a YA Fantasy Adventure. The writing was great and kept me interested the entire time. I loved Briar's character. I liked the building romance. I was able to guess what was going to happen and then noticed that I still had 15% left of the book. At this point I realized there was a twist coming. I definitely didn't see the twists coming. This book has multiple timelines. Sometimes when switching between the tinelines it wasn't immediately clear which timeline we were in until further in the chapter.
