The Burning Bridge

this was SO MUCH FUN!! i adore these characters so much and the last few chapters had me so tense but they were so good! i can't wait to read the next one

Another fun adventure following the apprentice ranger Will. Suitable for younger readers and great as an introduction to epic fantasy. This entry upped the stakes and did get really epic by the end. Great stuff with a well written, emotional, cliffhanger ending. I'm looking forward to book 3.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!

I feel like saying this only 2 books in may be a bit premature, but wow.

The action is on point, the characters grow, learn, make mistakes, the humor is absolutely there, and the writing has me completely invested! I cannot wait to read the next one I am soooooo excited.
Also, Will is our main character and he does a lot of crazy extraordinary things, but they aren't always the main, in the spotlight, things, which I find to be awesome. Other people get opportunity to shine.

The cliffhanger at the end I think is done very well, I'm not annoyed because the story is complete and I want to read the next one horribly bad.
Definitely a series I recommend.
