The Bright Ages: A New History of Medieval Europe

I'm not sure why or how I chose this book. I did find the idea of the “Bright” ages very interesting. But I have to say I only made it half the way through. This is a sad truth, because I almost never put down a book before finishing. I like to be able to give an honest review of the entire book. There were some very interesting details in the first half, but it was too much of a history school book to me and I just didn't care after a while. If anyone loves history and wants to read a book, this would be it.
