The Boss's Offer

My husband’s work trip wasn’t supposed to be... like this. I packed for boring meetings, hotel room dinners, maybe a little intimate time with my husband between his work obligations. Not this. Not her.
Rebecca. Dave’s boss. Gorgeous. Powerful. The kind of woman who walks into a room and owns it. She sized me up the second we met, like she already knew what she wanted.
Later, she told me. Dave’s up for a promotion, and he’ll get it—if I share him with her for the night.
My heart pounded. I should’ve been outraged, right? But... I wasn’t. I was curious. Dave doesn’t know. Rebecca made it clear: the offer’s for me to decide. I can say no. I should say no.
But my mind keeps replaying it. The way she said it. The way she looked at me. At us.
Do I give in? Let her have him—have us—for a night? Or is this playing with fire?
