The Bone Queen

So, I ended up not liking this one as much as the first novel. While The Naming is more action, traveling, and learning, The Bone Queen focuses more on darkness within, past mistakes/redemption, discussions, and mental battles. It felt tedious at times.

While I still enjoyed most of what I read, there was just soooo much detail for me. I would still recommend this one to people who like fantasy, but I think reading The Naming first is best. Otherwise I wouldn't have known any of these characters at all or felt a connection. It was painful at times...

I look forward to reading The Riddle soon.
