This is one of those children's books that touch your heart. It doesn't matter if you are young or old, close your eyes and you will be transported because of the beauty of the words. This is truly a beautiful book.
An interesting look at what it's like to be blind, from the perspective of a young boy who describes how colours feel, taste, smell, and sound.
Sensuous and evocative. A gorgeous concept. The only disappointment I had was that the braille in the copy I borrowed from the library was worn down and very hard to feel, as it is created with the same rubbery material printed on the pages as illustrations.
