The Birthing House

There are no words for how much I disliked this book, nuff said.

I gave it my best shot, but this book sucks so bad I can't continue. There is literally nothing happening and I made it halfway through.

Mediocre. A strong start (I may have given bonus points for the local setting...) that petered out into a rehashing of many popular horror tropes, none of which were particularly well thought out. This could have been an interesting addition to gender/sex theory criticism, but didn't really get beyond a whole lot of masturbation (literal and literary). Very derivative, and very pointless. I'm extremely disappointed.
