Connelly Sternin feels like Rapunzel, locked away in her Upper East Side high-rise apartment studying for the SAT exams, until she develops an unlikely friendship with her high school's Prince Charming and begins to question some of the things that have always defined her life.

I just wrote a beautiful review and lost it. I hate it when I hit the wrong button. But here it goes again. I liked this book. I didn't like the smoking or the partying but I guess it is a moderately realistic view of high school life (although I never drank or smoked in high school). I loved that the relationship between Connelley and Jeremy was about friendship and building trust, not about teenage hormones and sex. I liked the discovery and the honesty. I love Kate. I cried. I recommend.
