the twists and turns had me gagged, gooped, and glumped.

What on earth

I completed this book very quickly. Cannot wait for the next one. It had twist and turns that I never thought would be upcoming.

For about 90% of the book, my rating sat at 2 stars. The last few chapters redeemed the book a bit and now I'm interested in continuing the series mostly to see how everything plays out. I definitely wasn't expecting the twists either which is always a plus

THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! finally a good and fun thriller. i dont give books like this 5 stars, but it deserves at least the 4.5 for not dissapointing me

WOW now this was exactly the book I needed to get out of a reading slump. Short chapters, dual perspective, and major twists make my perfect read. I was so impressed with this book. The last third of the book gave me whiplash with the amount of twists, all the way until the very last line. It has been a long time since a thriller has blown my mind this much and truly shocked me. I never ever would have suspected that Peter was cheating on Ainsley with Seth! That was the first shock. Then to find out that Ainsley plotted the whole thing, and that Peter was the rapist with a secret room the whole time! That last little bit reminded me a lot of “My Lovely Wife,” which is one of my favorite thrillers of all time. I immediately want to reread it to see everything now that I know all the secrets! This was my first book by this author, and I cannot wait to check out her entire backlist. 

It's raining plot twists!

Took me a while to love it though. At around 50% I almost DNF-ed the book but when the plot twists started, I literally gasped! Then I couldn't, for the life of me, put it down! Will try reading other Kiersten Modglin books soon!
