The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion

Fannie Flagg is so good!

I liked parts of this book and was barely able to tolerate other parts. The story switches back and forth between the present and the past. The part of the story that takes place in the past was very good. The part that takes place in the present is AWFUL. The main character, Sookie, and her horrid mother were the worst. So, I rated the book just “ok” because of the part that takes place in the past.
