This one was such a hard one to decide if it was a 5 star or 6 star read for me. 6 stars means that it's a favorite of the year. I may end up adjusting the more I sit with my thoughts because man did this book have me screaming, crying, throwing up at MULTIPLE points in the story. It makes me want to go back and read the other 2 in the series (I read out of order because of a travelling book club I'm in, not that ya'll care).
However when I say this book's plot was unhinged, I mean UNHINGED. It was more unhinged than a broken door. I won't get into why this book was unhinged to avoid spoilers, but know that there were many times that I sat there, stared at the book, and went “What in the world?” then shrugged and said “Why the fuck not at this point?” and kept on reading.

This one was the best yet!!! I absolutely love the main characters (no spoilers) and their chemistry! Dante was smoldering sexy and down bad for the FMC and I was loving every minute of it. Plus the tension of knowing the background knowledge that the main characters didnt added some extra burn. Highly recommend for fans of the precious two books, this is my new favorite!
In this book you will find; miscommunication trope, public sex, touch her and die, Princess trope, a “man” down so bad, power couple, fated mates, and some detailed deaths.

The third installment in the series, ‘The Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human,' marks a noticeable shift from its predecessors. While it maintains the signature humor and eccentric storytelling, this edition falls a bit short in matching the charm and engagement levels of the first two. One significant difference is the toned-down smut content, which might disappoint fans who appreciated this aspect in the earlier books. The narrative, although unique and entertaining, doesn't quite capture the same magic, making it a decent, but not exceptional, continuation of the series.
