I had to read this for class an it really did a great job on shedding light on PTSD, which is becoming more and more of a problem. I'm glad to see a book that puts a mental disease first.

Many characters and voices...was difficult to understand the particulars, but the emotions were (more or less) appearant. Not my favorite style of writing and many parts were hard to listen to, but part of that is intentional.

Wish I had come away with this knowing more about PTSD...perhaps I'll look for other reading.

I had to take a lot of breaks while reading this one - some of the stories were really powerful. I got emotional just looking at the cover photo.
