Tequila and Tattoos

A shot of tequila, a sweet grumpy fluffball in quite a big package, one fiery “I know it all guy”, one easy to love hippie with a penchant for tattoes and art, mixed with all kinds of emotions - pinch of angst, a slice of broken friendship, the bittersweet tang of regret and a heap of misunderstandings. Raquel Riley knows how to deliver interesting, meaningful, well written story.
Her boys are yet again such an intriguing combination of personalities. It wasn't a level of “grab the fire extinguishers” kind of heat, but Shannon and Graham were almost able to light my patience on fire. Thankfully Aries got a handle of the 2 rams quite fast and helped them clear a sea of hurt and old wounds that were festering unattended for too much time. The snark and banter helped me cool off too. So what happens with one wonderful childhood friendship when lack of communication, internal struggles and self doubts creep in!?! For Shannon and Graham/Gordy, it turned into a silent feud, a fierce competition how to find the best way to hurt each other without even a simple touch. Until Aries - he was the catalyst of their healing process, the so needed push into a cathartic, long overdue conversation and the key for a bright new beginning. And when the clouds started to clear, it was fun to watch the unconventional bonding of this triad. They worked really hard for their HEA.
