Tender Is the Flesh

I can leave a review but I'm not sure I can rate it. It isn't a 1 star, but it isn't a 5. It just truly isn't rate-able to me right now. I don't even know how I feel after this book. Just the things that happen in this book are wildly insane. Almost unimaginable. Inhumane, obviously. I have a hard time freaking out about it because as society, I can't see us every getting to this place (at least in my lifetime). However, picturing the things that are on the pages churns the stomach. This is one messed up book. Incredibly messed up. I don't even know what else to say.
