Beautiful and emotionally raw. Grace does an amazing job letting us into her life and the experiences she had with her childhood and mother. I learned so much about history and how it has had a ripple effect into the next generation. This story is raw and I am so glad for the honesty and openness about her life, mother, history, and more was given in this book. This book was a library read and I was so happy to finally finish it. If you can connect with this book then be prepared for the full book because it was a lot to take in and think about.
