Tangled Threads

So much repetition. I know that writers want to allow new readers to jump into a series at any point, but as someone reading the whole series, reading recaps of every step of the book is a bit tedious. I also think it could be done more naturally?
Also, why is it she can't ever do anything without getting hurt? I'd like to see how amazing she can be besides from the one time in the first book...
I like the world, I like the concept, my interest is just slowly waning because I keep re-reading the same things (sometimes multiple times in the same book... )

Estep has done it again, I just couldn't put this book down! I literally sat in the parking lot of my work because I had one chapter to read and could not go a moment more without finishing it! One of those books where you get a giddy feeling and a smile on your face when it's final over. Gin never ceases to amaze me with her quick thinking and kick ass attitude :) can't wait for the next one!
