Taming the Wolves

This series is so good.. I love Tamsin. I love watching her character grow the more she learns. I adore Thrain, he is so perfect for her.

I was worried at the start because the relationship focused on Tamsin and Thrain. However, we got so much more of Ivar and Olaf in this book. I cannot wait to see how the relationships continue to develop.

I really recommend checking out this series.

Taming of the Wolves takes everything I loved from Stolen by Wolves and delivers it even better. The pacing is smoother this time around, with the action and romance unfolding in a way that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The plot remains rich with tension, political intrigue, and the enemies-to-lovers dynamic that I enjoyed in the first book. However, the pacing feels more refined, allowing for deeper character development and a more immersive experience overall.

What truly sets this sequel apart is the elevated smut—it's not just steamier but also more integral to the characters' emotional journey. It adds depth to their relationship without feeling gratuitous, perfectly balancing the romance and the spice. The slow burn is still there, but the payoff is more satisfying. If you loved the first book, Taming of the Wolves will exceed your expectations, keeping the same intensity while delivering a stronger narrative and even better chemistry between the leads.

The depth of this book is intense and deep, especially as a second book. I adored it, but it was so long I had to take breaks before continuing to make sure how dark parts were didn't affect me too much. I'm excited for book 3, but will probably give myself a break before diving into it.
