I do think this book contains valuable information regarding ADHD, the symptoms, the problems it causes, and it's effects on day to day life. I would even recommend people who do not have ADHD read at least “Step Four” since i think the strategies listed for coping with the disorder would actually be beneficial to anyone.
The reason for the lower score, however, is that I feel like for a book for and about people with ADHD it is not written in a way that helps the reader focus. It took me a while to finish it because it felt like it dragged on and it was incredibly difficult to pay attention. The later half of the book kept my attention better, but that might also be because i had to employ the help of the audiobook and Immersion read (read the book and listen to it at the same time).
Bottom line, i would recommend this book to others, both if you suffer from ADHD or not, but be aware that you might have some difficulty with paying attention the whole way through.
