Tainted Tales Anthology

“Black Ice Heart” by Abrianna Denae tells the story of Jack Frost the product of Mother Nature. Denae creates a painful past for Jack that we get to relive through his journey in the present. Jack meets Ryson who ends up being connected to his past. Denae keeps the suspense going until the very end. I do have to warn you though that this story ends on a painful cliffhanger. Denae makes me want to stick with Jack and find out what happens next.

We meet Mother Nature again, but this time in “Don't Mess with Mother Nature” by T.S. McKinney. In this story Nature is a voyeur who wants her straight guy to live his true nature. McKinney writes a steamy BDSM poly story with Hudson, Chance, and Wild. This is one you might want to bookmark and read on repeat - alone. (laugh)

Sara Dobie Bauer brings Father Christmas to life in “He Sees You When You're Sleeping”. Mind you this is a much darker and can I say creepier version of Father Christmas? (laugh) Bauer manages to balance dark and light in a way that still makes everything romantic and that is hard to do. I will give a warning that this is a very violent tale with very dark tones which might be a trigger for some people, but the ending is so worth it.
