I wanted to read this before watching the show. I don't know know how close they are, but wanted to read the source beforehand. It's an interesting premise and a pretty good story, although I wasn't entirely blown away. Not sure why I just didn't connect with Sweet Tooth emotionally, but I guess and that might just be me. It was a good read, but it will not be among my favourites.

Ok so I read this one right after finishing vol. 1 and while there is a section titled previously where we get a recap of what happened in the previous book I think I would recommend reading them all back to back. We get to learn more about the characters in this one especially Jepperd. After what happened in the first book between Jepperd and Gus I was fully ready to continue hating Jepperd but once things were revealed in this one I kind of feel bad for him although he's still not been fully redeemed in my eyes. I still think the graphics are dull for my tastes but works well for the story and they are still graphic and the story touches on some triggering subjects so beware of that going in. I'm still interested in finding out what happens next but I'm not fully connecting to the characters. I will be starting the next one very soon.
