Two women deal with modern themes of sex, relationships, and fetishism in this erotic romantic comedy. So beware all who enter, because, to quote a few hundred thousand readers on DeviantArt: "I'm not into BDSM...but this story...I get it."

It was OK. The artwork was stunning and I loved the use of colour throughout. I liked the nervousness of the characters as they met for the first time, and I liked how they were exploring this new thing between them, but I found it a little too sugary and sweet at times. Perhaps a little too light on depth as well. It had all the elements to be a great story, but as others have said, I found myself a little bored with it. It wasn't the lack of graphic detail, because I actually liked that. But there was just something that was missing that didn't give me that spark of wanting to read more. By all accounts I should have loved it, I just didn't.
Well, what a pleasant surprise. I read this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, it has a sweetness to it. But considering the general societal feelings on BDSM, I'm fine with that. It's a nice introduction: It's not scary or bad or only done by scary people. The characters in this are likable, believable women who are each other's firsts, really. Their internal monologues are realistic and funny. The fact that Ally the domme and Alan, despite a failed relationship, are besties is great. The art is delightful, and I don't usually like Western art in comics very much. So, yayz, I'm excited to read the next one.

This felt really male gaze-y to me :( It was entertaining and I really tried to like it but it felt shallow and unrealistic. It promoted some unsafe BDSM practices and there were a lot of problems with consent among the friend group.
