One of the stylish and hip books of Marvel Now!, this version of Young Avengers certainly bring the right things to the table with the cast like Kid Loki and the awesome Noh-Varr in the mix. With the story that is relatable in the first volume (parents and all that stuff), it's certainly a great start for this series and makes it one of my personal favorite.

original review
I already knew and adored America from A-Force and when I found out that Billy and Teddy were in this comic too, I was even more excited to read it. Then when I started I found out that Kate Bishop was in here too and I was so thrilled.
Anyway, liked it a lot, had a blast with it, and am looking forward to continuing the series.
Most of the other Young Avengers stuff I've read read like stories for adults starring teenage superheroes. This one felt like an actual piece of YA, which is good and what a proper Young Avengers series should be striving for, I think.
AHH weird, I just noticed this wasn't marked “read” on GoodReads?? I totally read it! It was totally great!
Kate Bishop is better than you. This book is right up there with Matt Fraction's Hawkeye for me in terms of writing, characterization, and amazing and inventive art.
