Got it from a friend. Considering it's a New Adult romance (girl still in high school falls for boy who turned 20), it actually attempts at a storyline: the girl wants to be a chef, is the daughter of one (a French guy who is fun and owns a restaurant in which she works); she falls for the nephew of her stepmom, who has come back from war as an amputee, and she establishes a connection with him that is not overpowering nor ridiculous as one would expect - not spoiled, not over the moon, just something you could see happening.
It is not amazing, but probably because I don't love the genre. If you do, it's definitely worth reading.
