“What's one truth about an arrow?” I ask as I look up, wishing it were my mother's voice asking. “Removing half the feather will create the curve and alter its course.”—I love that all the Arrowood brothers are committed to their one truth. Even when Jacob doesn't think it's possible to find his truth his mother leads him to it and his realization is so inspiring.

“Honestly, my mother was brilliant because she never really explained it to any of us. She sort of said it and gave us some crap about how it applied to whatever situation she wanted it to, but it wasn't until the last two years that I realized each was about our fatal flaws.”—Dec's candidness about their struggles to realize their worth is so touching. He truly wants & believes they all deserve what they never thought was possible.

This is the best scene in the book. I mean outside of the movie premier how can you not swoon over this? —“What's one truth about an arrow?” he asks. I fight back the buildup of tears. “No matter how many times you pull that bow back, if you keep focus and keep aiming, your arrow will go exactly where it should.” He looks up at me, a smile on his beautiful lips. “I know mine did.”—yep you heard it that was my ovaries exploding!

Stay for me is a tragically beautiful story of first love & second chances—at life & love. Corinne puts us through the heart wringer but it is so worth it❣️
