This book was sweet and tender while also bringing great spice to the table, which I think is really rare to find, so I'm really happy about that!
I loved both the characters, they had such sweet banter while also having meaningful conversations, and also bonding over their dorky video games and gay sci fi novels, it was so cute.
I'm not even a dog person but the dogs were such an adorable addition to the story
This is exactly the kind of sappy, slightly melodramatic love story that I love to read... It may be instalove but the connection between the two MCs is deep and soulful and there was no way I couldn't root for them.. The little bit of angst made me weep (as usual) and the ending made me exceptionally happy 😃😃😃 A beautiful love story !!!!
This book, honestly, wasn't what I expected. I thought it'd be a fluffy little diversion, not such a compelling story. I liked Noah and his trying to come to terms with faith, family and his sexuality. And I adored Adrian and his own coming to terms with always preferring a long-distance relationship. Throw in a pair of dissimilar dogs and a gluten allergy (I'd LOVE to see more food allergies!) and I had a blast.
