Sparring Partners: Novellas

Nice collection of three well written novellas. I liked these so much I might forgive Grisham for Rogue Lawyer.

Buona lettura a un ottimo libro, come tutti i libri di Grisham. Mi è piaciuto leggermente meno il secondo racconto, anche se forse doveva essere il più emotivo dei tre. Molto calzante la trama del primo e del terzo, come al solito. Il primo, in particolare, con Jack Brigance, mi è piaciuto molto.

I really enjoyed these novellas. The last one ended the opposite of how I thought it would though. The short chapters always keep me wanting to continue to see what is next. I see why this one came so highly recommended.

All the stories were pretty good. First two kind of felt like they just ended though without wrapping it up.

Really enjoyed all three of these stories. It helps that the audio book narrators (Jeff Daniels, Ethan Hawke and January LaVoy) were all really good.

A trio of Grisham novels written with typical Grisham prose and pacing.

They were good stories but lacked any serious emotional punch.

Homecoming is interesting, and reunites the reader with familiar enjoyable characters.

Strawberry Moon is a poignant and well told tale.

Sparring partners is not as satisfying as the first two stories, but still held my attention.
