While I enjoyed it, I did not enjoy it as much as the previous two books. It brings the whole story ark to an end, but it feels a bit forced. Not so enchanting like the previous ones. I was never really drawn into the story.
So, if you read and enjoyed the other two, I recommend to read this one to finish it. Else skip it.
Short Review: Smileys People by John le Carré - this is the conclusion of the Karla sub-trilogy in the George Smiley series. It is easily one of the top le Carré books I have read. Smiley again comes out of retirement and slowly works through the vague clues to find Karla and attempt to put a stop to his network that is destroying the British intelligence system. Not a stand alone book, but well worth reading.
