And love, we go out to find all the love we can and try to keep it . . .”

I found this free short story today on Tor's newsletter. It was a great story, very well told, the kind of story a cyborg would collect for his people. Sadly, too short.

A short sci-fi story about a pilot with a secret - which is about to be exposed after he is almost sliced in two in an accident. The story examines whether he had built enough of a relation ship of trust with Doctor Ell and Captain Ransom of the ship Visigoth, for them to trust him when the truth starts to come out.

Good story with a few twists and turns. 4 stars.
