Somehow exactly what I was looking for, which'll get top marks from me every time. Def planning on reading more Nordic noir.

I read the last book of the series first, and phew - thankfully, there is no significant back story to get in the way. Super scene-setting, a dogged and likeable policeman and dark secrets. Great to have Ari Thor back. Unfortunately this is the last book in the series.
An excellent, chilling read. Atmospheric and, at times, claustrophobic.
