The Kremlin is critized for the murder of a Russian journalist in Helsinki. Finnish Stasi and the KGB connections focus the next target: young female scientist. Involved in the investigation is Riku Tanner, whose father has disappeared in Moscow when the Berlin Wall came down. Soon, it appears that there is a police insider leak and Riku wants out of the game by any means, however he finds himself in the line of fire by all parties. Gradually, he finds what the terrible mission is all about. Buried secrets begin to rise to the surface and their destructive power is unprecedented.
