3.5 rounded up. Ultimately an interesting novel and pretty good but it really struggled with tone. It was kind of all over the place when it came to that. Im going to try another mystery from the author and then see if I want to continue this series.

Alright, this isn't bad. I'm sure others will really enjoy it. My problem is as soon as they go on a date the book seems to change and it clicked what I was hoping for, I wasn't going to get.
