If. If this is the book I think it is. It was a wonderful look into the ancient world, with a very holistic picture of what these great, ancient wonders meant. To the people who commissioned them, to those who built them, and to those who lived beside them.
I think over the many years since I read it, I saw some inaccuracies, and some loose choices in art work. But, if it is the book, then it was very much still a good read as a youth.
Might need to purchase it to be sure.
