I bought this one, couldn't wait to read it, but part of my downfall was continually thinking of The Wall of Winnipeg and Me while reading it. The prior book I LOVED, this one, not so much, and I think I would have potentially liked it a wee bit more, had I not been comparing it the whole time.
So much talk about their looks and I couldn't completely get myself to like the main characters. He only notices her when she makes it clear she is leaving and even then it takes his teammates saying they'd date her and him thinking ‘huh why do I drive her dates away?' .
There is a TON of slut shaming in this book. And I dislike when heroines change their plans and life to fit with the hero.
